About Richfield Arts Commission
The purpose of the Richfield Arts Commission is to raise awareness of, promote the value of, advocate for and support the arts in Richfield, Minnesota. The Richfield Arts Commission functions in an advisory capacity to the Richfield City Council. Richfield Arts Commission normally meets on the first Monday of the month at the Arts Center or the Richfield Community Center.
Appointments to the Arts Commission are made in January of each year, or as vacancies occur, at the direction of the City Council. Openings will be advertised in the Richfield Sun Current and on the web site. Application forms are available at the City Manager’s office and on this web page.
The City of Richfield offers art classes as part of its adult education offerings. These classses are offered at various locations throughout the city. Class details and registration information will be posted on this site as available.
Richfield Arts Center
The City of Richfield has provided space in the park building in Veteran’s Park for use as an Art Center. At present, this is a single room and is available for use by a scheduled class or event. Location: Veterans Park, 6335 Portland Ave, Richfield.
